Asset Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Surveyor to join our Asset Investment team. Magna Housing owns and manages around 9,000 homes and is a community-based housing association. We mainly work in Dorset and Somerset (our head office is in Dorchester) providing housing services to local people.

You will be an enthusiastic and committed person and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that works in partnership with our colleagues.

The work you undertake will ensure we put our customers at the heart of what we do whilst you take responsibility for delivering our programmes of work.

**What you will do:
- To specify, plan, procure and manage packages of planned and cyclical works
- To assist the Project Surveyors in delivering planned works and cyclical program for our customers
- You will produce and record performance information
- You will assist in the development of survey programs and analyse and record property data

**Who we are looking for**:

- To be successful, you will have an HNC in a construction related discipline or time served relevant experience and possess a minimum of Maths and English at GCSE level.
- You need to be organised and logical and be capable of concise and accurate work.
- You will need good numeracy, IT and inter-personal skills.
- You will have an excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and experience of refurbishment works to domestic multi occupied buildings.

The salary advertised would be reduced in this event, and a salary progression and training plan would be agreed with the successful applicant.
