Sand is a finite resource, and it’s running out. Today, population growth and the pace of progress means the world is devouring sand like never before - 50 billion tonnes a year globally. Together with our customers we have already diverted over 100 million tonnes of waste material from landfill and put it back into the materials market for use in construction; protecting sand & aggregates in areas where natural material reserves are in decline and enabling production to happen closer to markets. **Job Purpose**

The Marketing Executive Placement will help you experience a career in Marketing and increase your employability after graduation. You will gain first-hand experience working alongside experienced marketers and sales personnel, you will work on a broad range of marketing initiatives, globally and you’ll have the opportunity to build your network.

Activities will include supporting regional marketing teams in the execution of annual marketing plans. You will provide support in the roll out of brand plans, supporting the planning, execution and evaluation of all offline & online marketing, including sales presentations, customer engagements, bookings and admin, arranging and facilitating meetings, monthly reporting, in line with marketing strategies.

**About The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- To support regional marketing with the localisation of marketing plans. Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of all offline & online marketing activities and content for the region including (but not limited to): advertising, PR, events, customer engagements, brand materials & presentations, direct/E-marketing, digital.
- To support the execution of customer engagements in conjunction with regional marketing and business development
- Assisting regional marketing to support internal stakeholders in the development and monitoring of pipelines/opportunities across the region; building and developing relationships with prospects, customers, influencers, and work with in-house and partner agency teams.
- To monitor regional competitor activity and conduct wider market analysis of new product launches across the industry.
- To support with regular analysis and measurement on the return on investment for various activities across the year to report performance against key metrics, providing reports as required.
- Keep accurate records and provide administrative support when needed, using CDE’s systems.

**Required Criteria**
- Be studying for a business or marketing-related degree.
- Fluent in English.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have excellent organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
- Hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to a car, as there is a requirement to travel between CDE’s campus sites for this job role

**Desired Criteria**
- Proficiency in another language.
- Digital marketing experience
- Experience of social media content planning & creation
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe or Canva.
- Experience of writing/ publishing content.
- Experience with video editing software.
