**DEPUTY SENDCO**

**TLR 1a (£8,716) + MS-UPS (OLA)**

Woodbridge High School is a successful school situated in the heart of Woodford Green, North East London. It is fully comprehensive with an ethnically and socially diverse intake. We enjoy an excellent reputation within the local community. We achieve impressive results year after year from a fully comprehensive intake. We are currently looking for a Deputy SENDCO to join our Inclusion Team.

The Inclusion department offers:

- The opportunity to work within a strong team dedicated to inclusion
- An experienced, supportive and inspirational Head of Inclusion who will help you progress in your career to become a mainstream SENDCO or Inclusion Leader
- The opportunity to work with and teach a range of students with SEND within a mainstream comprehensive school setting
- The opportunity to lead on setting up and teaching within a new SEND hub provision within the school
- The opportunity to lead on other aspects of the school's provision for students with SEND

The successful applicant will:

- Have a strong belief in comprehensive education
- Have the ability to deliver excellent student outcomes for students with SEND
- Be an innovative and inspirational teacher
- Be committed to their personal and professional development
- Make a positive contribution to the school’s distinctive ethos
- Have the experience of teaching a full age and ability range
- Hold, or be willing to gain as soon as possible, the NASENCO qualification
- Have previous experience of working with students with SEND in a mainstream secondary setting
