Job Purpose:

- The Stores Assistant will join the Warehouse and Stores team at the Rotherham Depot in a role that primarily involves the management of materials associated with the installation of Cash Machines, accepting deliveries and picking materials for in-house and 3rd party build and installation teams.Reporting directly to the Warehouse & ATM Stock Manager you will hold a current Forklift licence (or be willing to take relevant training), and a general Health & Safety competency, and work in line with current best practice in the Stores and Warehouse areas of the depot.Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Provide assistance and support in the Stores and Purchasing Office
Accept, off-load and book-in deliveries of a wide-range of materials associated with ATM installations.
-Receive and distribute goods to internal departments in line with Goods-In Process
-Stock Take / Inventory
-Take part in quarterly Inventory Stock Takes at the Rotherham Depot.
-Carry out regular Cycle Counts to maintain perpetual inventory accuracy within the Oracle ERP.
-Repair Centre Assistance
-Provide Pick/Pack assistance for the Rotherham Repair Centre team.
-Receive/deliver incoming parts and modules.
-Ensure all repaired/tested goods are packed adequately to allow safe transit via Rico.
-Materials Provision for In house and 3rd Party Site teams
-Load and off-load both Cardtronics and 3rd Party vehicles.
-Pick building/electrical materials in line with lists provided for ATM Installation sites throughout the UK.
-Serve Construction Consumables, PPE etc. at Stores Hatch
-General housekeeping, continuous improvement and H&S Compliance of the Stores, Warehouse and Yard areas.
-Implement correct segregation and disposal of waste streams (cardboard, plastic, metal, WEEE etc.)
-Take role in Weekly monitoring audits of Stores, Warehouse and yard areas of the depot.
-Reporting Near Misses
-Provide support to Warehouse team in times of Annual Leave / sickness etc.
- Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:- Working Knowledge of H&S Best Practice - CSCS Card Holder (or similar).
- Prior experience of working in a fast paced Stores/Warehouse environment.
- Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence Holder, Hydraulic Pallet Truck competence.
- Strong IT skills with experience of working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Excellent numeric and literacy skills.- Success Criteria & Performance Measures:- Accuracy of Stock control records.
- Repair centre goods packed securely and made ready for distribution on a daily basis.
- Materials Orders Picked and Prepared in line with Installations Schedule.
