Joinery foreman required for Hastings based Joinery workshop
Must have proven tack record of managing a busy workshop, managing staff, meeting deadlines, using traditional joinery machinery and techniques and completing projects to a high standard.
The role will be undertaking and coordinating varied, challenging and high-profile projects for both residential and commercial clients.
The ideal applicant will be creative, innovative and flexible, bringing a high level of experience and skill, gained in a similar setting, with competence in both traditional joinery and cabinetry.
We are looking for a collaborative worker with a positive attitude and exemplary work ethic. The right applicant must have good problem-solving ability and fine attention to detail.
The working week is 36 hours over 4 days with the occasional requirement for evening and weekend overtime work.
Minimum 5 years workshop joinery experience required
Job Spec/Duties:
Managing team of joiners and an apprentice
Overseeing machinery maintenance program
Reading and working from drawings
Input to design team during pre-production (design) phase
Working as part of a team on a range of varying projects
Key Skills:
People management
Time management
Workshop experience
Preferred experience: Staircases, Doors, Windows, Cabinetry and Furniture making

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
