We have an exciting opportunity for **Care Assistants** to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home.

Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality residential and dementia care services for up to 21 elderly residents, and has a CQC rating of Good.

As a Care Assistant you will:

- be involved in supporting the daily activities of our residents, ensuring a person-centred approach is undertaken at all times
- assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
- have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care or non-care duties.

Whether you are accompanying a resident to a dentist appointment, completing a care plan document, assisting a resident to have a shower, reading the morning newspaper to a resident, or assisting someone to have breakfast, you should do so with care and kindness.

You don’t need experience to become a Care Assistant, just plenty of passion and understanding, good written and verbal communication, and some basic IT skills. A full induction programme and training is provided. This job is varied, interesting and very rewarding.

A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. We are looking to fill full-time positions of 36 hours a week.
