Apprentice Dryliner

**This vacancy is ringfenced for residents of London borough of Wandsworth only**

The Drylining Company Training Academy offers a two year apprenticeship in Drylining and Interior Systems.

Drylining Company is a City & Guilds certified training centre so all qualifications are delivered in house.

The apprenticeship is delivered in block placements starting off with 3 weeks in the academy then 8 weeks out onsite, back to the academy for 2 weeks and back out to site for 8 weeks and so on and so forth.

A total of 14 weeks is spent in the academy in year 1 and 6 weeks in year 2 and the rest of the time is spent onsite.

Students are taught by experienced tutors who have spent years in the trade.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship each student is guaranteed a full time job with the company.

Apprentices will qualify with 7 different certificates namely a diploma in Drylining & Interior Systems and an NVQ in Drylining Fixing & Boarding.

Apprentices will earn £32,500 over the course of the two years.

Apprentices will also be provided with a full set of tools valued at £600

Flights and accommodation will be provided when onsite.

Accommodation will be provided when in the academy.

Apprentices will receive full uniform and travel allowance is paid weekly.

The Drylining company Apprenticeship is an award winning programme for excellence in training standards.

Young people travel from all over Ireland and the UK to do this apprenticeship.

Our apprentices have won numerous awards over the past 5 years and are trained to a worldwide standard.

Most recently, one of our past apprentices represented the company. The Construction Industry and the country competing on a worldwide stage against the top 14 countries in the world in Drylining and Interior systems at the WorldSkills Special Edition in Bordeaux, France.
