**Are you a skilled and experienced planner looking for a new challenge?**

**Workchain** is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capacity Planner to join our team for our Prestigious client based in **wellingborough.**

This is a full-time position with working hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role can be 5 out of 7 and offers a competitive salary of **£31,000 per year.**

Mainly office based however Hybrid working is available.

**Job Role**:

- Forecast and order contracted stock keeping units from suppliers to ensure at least 99.70% demand availability.
- Manage suppliers in line with customer and business KPIs and expectations.
- Engage with customers to review supplier performance and provide regular feedback.
- Build effective working partnerships with suppliers through monthly/quarterly reviews.
- Maintain effective administration processes to support depots in delivering key KPIs.
- Advise first line manager/s of potential issues and proposed resolutions.
- Manage new menus/seasonal specials in line with customer forecasts.
- Manage delisted lines to be effectively removed from the business without incurring stock loss.
- Review suppliers on planned timescales and place orders in compliance with lead times and MOQs.
- Ensure daily system hygiene is maintained, purchase orders are reviewed and closed, and all stock issues are resolved.
- Comply with food safety regulations and CMI standards.

**Required Skills**:

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills at secondary school level
- Previous planning experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (minimum of intermediate level)
- Good understanding of the operation
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Able to use initiative
- Team player
- Customer focused
- Expereince in demand/forecast forecast for planning replenishment orders for products with shelf life or previous ingredient production planning experience.
