**Junior Designer (Marketing Focus)**

**Company Introduction**:

**Our Ideal Person**:
**IMPORTANT**:The role will be hybrid with some remote working and regular support and strategy days with the e-Commerce Manager and other stakeholders, held at PAU Café, Trentham. Meetings are likely to be held 2-3 times a week to begin with, reducing in frequency once the role is established and mutual expectations are set. We plan to establish a head office in the foreseeable future and would then require our Junior Designer to spend time on site to maximise collaboration opportunities. You must also be prepared to travel to our other business locations from time to time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the e-Commerce Manager and wider PAU teams to conceptualise and execute engaging visual content for social media platforms, including graphics and short video reels.
- Design print literature such as leaflets, flyers, and posters that effectively communicate both our brand message and various promotional activities.
- Develop eye-catching print displays for events and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all projects.
- Regularly attend and support various events capturing and editing photography and video. Events may include cycle races, 5 and 10k runs, marathons, corporate and promotional events, public events including Comedy Nights at PAU Café. This may mean working occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Support the wider marketing function with content creation and management across various channels, including social media platforms, blogs, and WordPress websites ensuring a seamless user experience at all digital touchpoints with a mobile-first focus.
- Perform administrative duties including publishing new products to the website catalogue and setting up promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with wider business teams to brainstorm ideas, share feedback, and contribute to marketing objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our marketing materials.

**Essential Requirements**:

- A portfolio showcasing creative design work across various mediums, with a focus on digital and print marketing materials.
- Qualified to degree level in a marketing related discipline and at least 1 year work experience in a relatable role.
- Proficient and confident using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) for graphic design and video editing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent spelling and grammar along with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle (and happy to travel to various business sites and event locations from time to time).

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience with WordPress for website design and content management.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS
