**Production Operative / Process Engineer**

**The role**:
Prepping products for powder coating (wiping down product ready for powder coating)

Spotting defects and reporting them back to manufacturing

Producing treads on our power presses

MIG welding tread corners and handles

Sawing and bending tubing to produce parts for assembly

Goods in

Kanbans

Paperwork management (works orders)

Fitting products together to the highest standard

Ensuring equipment and filters are cleaned as per rota

Helping pack spares orders ready for delivery

Signing products off for dispatch

Loading vehicle for runs

Adhering to our 3S'ing rota

Embracing our Lean culture

Adhere to all health and safety rules

Have researched **Lean Thinking**

Have experience in a manufacturing environment

Ensure quality is added with each process

Understand and implement personal and company safety measures including using the correct PPE at all times

Have great communication skills, they are essential to work with team members and converse with customers and clients

Assemble all components with help of power and hand tools

Be confident to speak up in meetings

Constantly look to better themselves and their processes

12 week training programme during the probationary period

**Hours**:Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm | Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm| Overtime is currently available

**Pay**: Starting rate £12.36ph

Once your probation period has finished, you will be assessed monthly on your character, where your pay will be adjusted to match your rating.
