Product Owner

A vacancy for a Product Owner has arisen within Airbus in France or the United Kingdom. You will join the core IAM for Export control team DIA with a focus on the Program ECCP (Export Control Compliance Program). Within the program you will become product owner for Nextlabs - the ABAC solution Airbus has chosen.

The Product Owner is responsible for maximising the value of the product resulting from work of the Development Team. How this is done may vary widely across organisations, Scrum Teams,and individuals.

The Product Owner is the person accountable for elaborating a Product and consequently for managing the Product Backlog.
Product Backlog management includes:
Expressing clearly the Product Backlog items;
Describing/refining with the team the Product Backlog items corresponding to the needs

Prioritising the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions according to business Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definition. To do so,he.she is structuring the product to be delivered in an incremental way from the most valuable features to the less ones prioritised backlog

Optimising the value of the work the Development Team performs;
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows

what the Development Team will work on next;
Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the

needed level.

Demonstrating iteratively the results in order to get feedback from the

Customer/Stakeholder

The Product Owner Provides the short and mid term roadmap of the Product in

development, that will be accepted with Stakeholders/Customers.

According to the context, the Product Owner, being the Voice of the Customer within the team, can face two kinds of customers:
**Tasks & accountabilities**:
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Identify the needs from IAM stakeholders (Business, IT & Security), and major projects (ECCP ABAC CCF), translating them into key requirements (stories).
- Define the product strategy & roadmap, supported by solution architects and product managers
- Drive the evolution of your product through the Agile framework, collaborating closely with other IAM teams and business representatives.
- Measure and improve the end-user experience.

If necessary, the Product Owner may delegate specific activities to the Development Team.

However, the Product Owner remains accountable for them.

This role will involve some travel for business once a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
