**Main purpose of the role**

Because of Alice (AYBL Group) are looking for an exceptionally talented intern to support our Design Team. This placement offers a huge range of opportunities depending on your skill set, ambitions and willingness to learn. The role will give you a broad scope of experience across all major design and product development milestones. Ensuring full exposure to the creative design process and what goes into launching a successful collection.

**Roles & responsibilities**
- Assisting with checking in and measuring samples
- Contributing to concept, trend research and mood boarding
- Supporting with comparative shops and market research
- Preparing and organising samples for fittings and photoshoots
- Management and organisation of the sample and fabric archive
- Other general organisation and day to day administration of the design department

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled onto an undergraduate degree in a fashion related field
- A keen interest in women's fashion with an eye for premium, luxury design and aesthetics
- Knowledge of pattern cutting, grading and garment construction
- Experience with the design process including creating trend resorts, concept and market research and mood boarding
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Motivated, hardworking and highly organised individual
- Capable of working independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to drive and having own car would be advantageous but not essential

Eight weeks initially. (Depending on the requirements of the business and commitment to the role there may be the opportunity to extend your internship.)

**Location**
Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone's throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
