Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working alongside this incredible primary school located in Caerphilly. They are looking for a qualified and passionate teaching assistant to work in their year 1 class on a one-to-one basis with additional learning needs. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will support the pupil in their everyday school life helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will show a passion for learning and dedication to the development of each pupil individually.

**The Role**

**As a One-to-one Teaching Assistant you will**:

- Work one-to-one with a pupil with additional learning needs
- Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
- Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
- Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further
- Work with the pupil and teacher to plan and put into action systems to support the pupil
- Support the classroom teacher and work in small groups completing learning activities set by the teacher
- Will be caring, enthusiastic, and approachable
- Will have experience working within an educational setting
- Will have an understanding of how to support children with SEN
- Will have a good command of the English language
- Experience working in a similar role
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

**Salary**: £65.00-£75.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Caerphilly, Caerphilly: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
