**Job summary**:
Plat Douet School is seeking to appoint a Caretaker to join our caring, hard-working team.

Good communication skills and an eagerness to work in a school environment are essential.

A key part of the role is to overseeing and managing contractors, and to ensure site safety and security.

A good working knowledge of Health and Safety will be important to this role, although where needed, training will be provided.

In addition, the Caretaker’s role will also require skill in completing basic DIY type tasks, such as painting and decorating.
