**About the Opportunity**:
- Verifying Completed workbooks and documentation in line with the client’s management procedures and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) in accordance with EN 60079-17: 2007;
- Verifying existing electrical Single line Diagrams and test data using the Trimble AMTECH suite of software;
- Assist with the identification, specification and procurement of remedial materials, goods, and services through the Jacobs iProcurement system, goods receipting and progressing materials to meet the dates for the planned work;
- Cover other administrative tasks for other colleagues for planned absence, holidays, and sickness cover;
- Ability to work on own initiative and work co-operatively with others in the team to complete tasks and implement process in line with the clients KPI’s and end to end process in the timescales dictated in the contract;
- Ability to log in client’s various portal systems and up-load, download documentation, up-date clients progress trackers as required under the contract, whilst ensuring that statistical tracker information is collated and updated and accurate for Internal Operational Progress Reports / Client reports and progress meetings;
- Attend site on occasions to review inspection teams’ data input, offer assistance / solutions to technical queries;
- Participate in developing the growth of the team and wider Jacobs’s growth strategies.
**Here’s what you’ll need**:
- Minimum of a NVQ Level 3 Installing Electrical Wiring Systems (apprenticeship served);
- Comp Ex Ex01-Ex04 minimum qualification;
- C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification and an in-depth understanding of the IET BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Regulations and the 1989 Electricity at Work Regulations;
- English and Mathematics GCSE Grade C or above;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organisation;
- Experience costing remedial works and looking to obtain or are already working towards gaining a relevant level 4 professional diploma;
- Site and Electrical Engineering experience / knowledge is essential, whilst training and mentoring in all aspects of the roll will be given;
- UK Citizenship.
