They have been serving industry for 100 years from its Huddersfield base, as an independent specialist in sub-contract CNC and manual machining they can meet their customers’ needs from concept to delivery. Having a blend of skills, experience, and the latest machinery, from CNC turning, milling and gear cutting.

Due to increased demand for their services, this employer is now actively searching for a Manual Machinist to join their Huddersfield facility on a permanent basis.

**The Manual Machinist will be responsible for**:

- Operating a range of manual lathes, grinding machines (cylindrical and surface), and milling machines
- Reading, interpreting, and working directly from engineering drawings
- Ensuring high levels of craftsmanship and working in-line with tight tolerances & surface finishes

**The Manual Machinist will have**:

- Time served mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience in operating conventional and/or CNC machine tools
- Preferable to have experience working in a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment

**Working hours of the Manual Machinist**:

- Regular day shift working 40 hours per week
- 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & 1.45pm finish on Friday

**What is offer to the Manual Machinist**:

- Salary £29,120.00 dependant on experience
- Overtime available at uplifted rates
- Permanent opportunity
- 31 days holiday including bank holidays
