We are looking for an **Apprentice Landscaper **to join our team.
You will be required to attend college at Hadlow or Plumpton and undertake a
You will be required to attend college one day a week studying:
**Level 2 Horticulture or landscape construction operative apprenticeship, which includes**:
- Emergency first aid: Level 3 award in emergency first aid at work.
- Pesticides: Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides Guidance OR Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides
- English and maths: Apprentices without level 2 English and maths must achieve level 1 and take the test for level 2 before taking the end-point assessment.
- Training at Plumpton or Hadlow College will be one day per week during term time
- You will achieve an intermediate apprenticeship upon successful completion of your end point assessment
**What happens after you've completed your course and passed your exams?**
We would hope to offer you full-time employment on successful course completion.
**Schedule**:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
**Requirements**:
Ability to travel under your own steam to and from project locations in and around the Tunbridge Wells area.
GCSE or equivalent. (preferred)
Uk driving licence with own vehicle. (preferred)
Great communication skills.
**Responsibilities**:
Follow instructions from experienced landscapers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Operate tools and equipment.
Learn how to survey a site and master the importance of levels.
Participate in a wide range of construction tasks.
Plant trees, shrubs and flowers according to plan specifications.
Remove debris from work sites.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
Achieve a high standard of finish and have an eye for detail.

**Salary**: £15,600.00-£18,200.00 per year
