Front of House | Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Front of House Receptionist to join us and provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of a dynamic and creative team in a fast-paced and thriving salon environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome clients in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our salon.
- Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling client enquiries.
- Coordinate and organise salon bookings, ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the appointment schedule.
- Provide product information and recommendations to clients, promoting and upselling salon services and retail products.
- Handle cash, card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments on zenoti our booking system and issuing receipts.
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the salon stylists and technicians to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as maintaining client accounts updating there records.
- Utilise social media platforms to create engaging content and promote salon services and products.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk position, preferably in a salon or spa environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of salon services and products is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and salon management software.
- Experience in social media management and content creation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- A passion for the beauty and hair industry and a genuine interest in providing exceptional service to clients.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 32 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
