You will assist in the Purchasing of the engineer vehicles which are renewed when the mileage or age is reached and work with our brokers to ensure new vehicle deliveries are made in a timely manner direct to the drivers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working closely with key stakeholders across the Group to develop strategies for improved cost efficiency with data produced via our telematics device.
- Manage our providers on vehicle racking/livery/telematic devices coupled with dash cams to ensure our fleet is fit for purpose pre-delivery and compliant
- Ensure our vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders by scheduling and monitoring current trends in the industry, to enable annual forecasts.
- Marlowe provides our company car employees via a key leasing provider you will liaise with them on a regular basis to ensure our employees have an agreed selection of vehicles on offer and the vehicles are always on the road.
- Ensuring that the fleet of vehicles is operating in accordance with legislation and regulations
- Communicating with Insurance Brokers and organizing the appropriate insurance for Drivers and vehicles
- Assisting with the drafting and implementation of effective policies and processes regarding fleet operations
- Managing strict vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime
- Monitoring Driver behavior and taking necessary action where necessary
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services ensuring that all vehicles are properly registered; carry out inspections on a regular basis.
- Monitoring fleet costs and ensuring that they remain within budget including deciding the vehicles to be bought and how they are to be equipped and developing efficient renewal schedule across the fleet including negotiations with key vehicle manufacturersand agreeing terms and discounts
- Regularly report the performances of the fleet to the key stakeholders within the business
- Monitor fuel purchases by administering fuel cards for all vehicles to their respective drivers. This is carried out to regulate costs/expenses.
- Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of compliance.

**Person Specification**
- Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and coordinating abilities
- Must possess good leadership qualities
- Must be proactive and be able to pay keen attention to the smallest of details
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to motivate the drivers to always ensure their full co-operation
- Must be able to manage time effectively and meet/beat deadlines
- A minimum of 3 years' working experience in a similar role
- Any relevant certification will be an advantage
