We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team, working across two different sites. The responsibilities in the role

will include, (but not limited to):

- Provide assistance to the ‘Integrated Process Team 2’ (IPT2) in its function to create raw vaccine antigen (working with animals when applicable), undertake refinements to said antigen, then assist with final product blending, filling and packing.
- Require a hybrid approach to work across two sites, approx. 30 miles apart in Buckinghamshire & Cambridgeshire, with the primary focus being on the Buckinghamshire site at a ratio of approx. 60:40. The work pattern is somewhat predictable, and it can be reasonably planned when attendance at each site will be required. Overtime will be required, particularly during the ‘Primary Production’ process undertaken from approx. Sept-Dec annually at the Cambridgeshire site.
- Refining, blending, filling & packing of the product on the Buckinghamshire site (‘Secondary Production’) will involve some lab-type work including microscopy and counting, completion of paper and digital records, assembly of packaging then participation in filling ‘runs’ to prepare the product for market.
- In all aspects of the role, several disciplines are crucial to be successful, including:

- Attentive housekeeping i.e. tidying and cleaning of work equipment and areas.
- Completion of paper and digital records to a high standard.
- Reporting of deviations, ownership of ‘corrective and preventative actions’ (CAPAs) and tasks emanating from them, plus coordination of simple changes to working practises via approved Company platforms.
- Identification and reporting of ‘work orders’ to instigate maintenance/repair actions.
- Potential for ownership of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Potential for being an ‘Environment Health and Safety’ (EHS) assessor, following suitable training, for e.g. risk assessments.
- Potential to operate machinery e.g. forklift truck, telehandler and skid-steer loader (for which training will be provided).
