Wiltshire Council’s Passenger Transport Unit provides a wide range of transport services for Wiltshire: free school and college buses; transport for service users with special requirements; essential bus services not provided commercially. We're looking for an Education Transport Area Coordinator to help support the team.

In this role you will be part of a team of seven and your role will be to conduct the assessment of entitlement to school and college transport, as well as being a first point of contact for Wiltshire’s school crossing patrols.

This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our community. It's not just a job; it's an opportunity to cultivate your personal and professional growth, gaining hands-on experience in decision making, staff management, customer service and administration.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player and an exceptional communicator with strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a requirement, and any financial processing and supervisory experience will be considered a valuable asset.
