Regional Manager - Education

South West (Somerset, Wales, High Wycombe)

**Salary**: Up to £55,000, plus bonus and car allowance (OTE up to £75,100)

Keys Group is one of the largest providers of childcare in the UK with more than 90% of our schools rated 'good' or 'outstanding' by OFSTED. We specialise in working with children and young individuals with a range of behavioural difficulties, mental healthand learning disabilities in a variety of settings and we're looking to recruit a Regional Manager to manage a portfolio of schools across the South West.

With a basic salary of up to £55,000.00, plus car allowance and a generous bonus scheme, you will have the opportunity to earn up to £75,100 per annum.

You will be responsible for the provision of leadership, direction and management of a portfolio of Special Educational Need and Disabilities Schools, directing Head Teachers to achieve the highest levels of performance to meet and exceed Keys Group's qualitystandards, resulting in unmatched levels of support provided to the young people within our services.

You must hold a UK Driving License and have access to your own vehicle which can be used for business purposes as you will need to be able to travel extensively across the UK.

**Responsibilities of Regional Manager - Education Role**:

- To be a role model advocating professional leadership and guidance to Head Teachers.
- Monitor standards of Head Teachers and Schools dealing appropriately with any shortcomings.
- identify opportunities for Head Teacher and others educational and training requirements.
- Have a proactive approach to assessing children's needs and behaviours with an emphasis on appropriate safeguarding.
- Proactively manage the regional budget in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain and improve relationships with the host and placing authorities, complying with regulatory requirements, representing the schools.
- Work with the Managing Director and others to ensure that opportunities to improve occupancy are identified to maximise the number of young people educated.
- To represent the company with regard to other professional bodies and to foster professional and productive relationships with key personnel within key departments.

**Person Specification**:

- Understanding and previous exposure to OFSTED regulatory requirements.
- Previous managerial experience and multi-site experience.
- Understanding of Safeguarding.
- Understanding of Independent school standards
- Previous experience working with young people.
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.
- Need to have an education background (Headteacher or Managerial role)
- Multi-site experience is preferred but not essential
- Full UK drivers' license and access to own transport
