Vestas are a world leading, renewable energy company that develop, build, install and maintain wind turbines all over the globe. We are currently recruiting for an Operational Buyer for our new Tools storage facility in Seaham, County Durham.

**Responsibilities**

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Acquiring/purchasing material under the most favourable terms and conditions
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and cost concerns
- Administrative management of stock levels to meet the requirements
- Conducting adequate administration for vendor management (quality, budget and availability)
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Develop and manage effective relationships

**Qualifications**
- Min 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experienced IT user (Microsoft office, SAP, Excel)
- Knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes
