We’re looking for a Workplace Experience Lead to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.

Reporting to the Workplace Experience Manager, you will help shape our Company wide events, Studio Facilities, and Business Operations, all with a view of enhancing our teams wellbeing and experience whilst at work. Being a varying role we are excited to offer this opportunity to join the Workplace Experience team and are looking for an individual who has excellent multitasking and management skills with a keen interest in improving systems, processes and overall the studio environment of those around them.

We strive to avoid crunch. Overtime is optional and always paid, and we offer flexible working hours to allow you to enjoy a normal family life whilst making great games.

We can support UK relocation and have a dedicated People team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us.

- WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Operation Management
- Creating a meaningful employee experience
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase employee engagement and morale
- Analysing and documenting current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Conducting employee engagement surveys and utilising the data and feedback to gauge workplace satisfaction and adjusting operations as necessary to meet employee needs and expectations
- Driving initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence
- Developing and implementing new engaging and compliant policies and procedures
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement
- Supporting our team members and partners with planning and organising worldwide business travel
- Identifying and resolving problems that may arise. Analysing the situation without assumption, exploring potential solutions and implementing strategies to overcome obstacles
- Organising a wide range of company events including social activities, corporate lunches and seasonal parties. Some of which will be onsite in-house purpose built Auditorium, Market Hall and company bar
- Fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture through various initiatives and programs
- Looking for innovative solutions to streamline processes
- Ensuring alignment of operational strategies with overall business objectives and departments.

**People Management**
- Leading and managing the Workplace Experience junior team, setting clear goals and expectations, and ensuring staff are well-trained and equipped to perform their duties
- Tracking goals, metrics and performance
- Conducting monthly 1-2-1’s, regular performance reviews and input into development
- Providing leadership and mentorship to junior Workplace Experience team members.

**Communication**
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of employees both in the studio and remotely
- Authoring content which supports a positive workplace experience working with stakeholders across the business
- Make informed decisions by analysing data, considering input from team members, other stakeholders and evaluate risks and benefits
- Responding effectively to urgent issues as they arise and provide timely solutions
- Overseeing relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Collaborating with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives, as well as enhancing the overall employee experience
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, soliciting feedback, and implementing best practices in operations management
