**Your new role**

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Business Service Coordinator to join our team in the North West region. The purpose of this role is to support and enable the delivery of capital investment, maintenance and all operational capabilities by the National Highways Operations Directorate. The broad scope of this role encompasses the delivery and coordination of business services and administrative support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

**What you’ll be leading on**
- Develop and maintain performance management information and reports to ensure that all operational support and business services activities are delivered to the required standards and timelines
- Provision of effective administrative support to the business. A broad ranging accountability which may include executive and project support, support to meetings and conferences, fleet management and management of supplies and consumables.
- Produce reports, presentations and other documents, collating and analysing relevant information and statistics from identified sources, to support others in the delivery of their business objectives.
- Ensure the timely and effective dissemination of notices, memoranda and information.
- Enable and support effective information management including the maintenance of documents and records in accordance with National Highways Policies and Procedures and legal requirements.
- Enable and support resource management and workforce planning processes.
- Ensure that customer contacts and correspondence are drafted and completed to the required performance standards for quality and timeliness. Customer contacts & correspondence includes Customer Enquiries, Complaints, and Ministerial Correspondence.
- Support operational delivery through the enablement of regulatory and legal processes including Traffic Orders, Planning Applications and Information Requests.
- Enable and support processing of payments in accordance with National Highways Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the National Highways Quality Management System and processes. Support and enable audit and assurance activities.
- Sustain a culture of continuous improvement through the identification of lessons and opportunities for business improvement. Participate in the delivery of business improvement initiatives and transformation projects.
- Sustain a helpful, proactive and supportive culture in the delivery of operational support and business services.
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the National Highways and the supply chain.
- Contribute to the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues through vigilance. Participate in team level Health and Wellbeing activities.

**To be successful**
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Excel
- Experience in the use of business information and document management systems
- Ability to work well as a team and individually
- Experience in drafting and managing written correspondence
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with data analysis is desirable
