Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Justice Officer to join our team. As a Youth Justice Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding young individuals involved in the justice system. Your primary responsibility will be to provide supervision, counseling, and rehabilitation services to youth offenders to help them reintegrate into society.

**Responsibilities**:
Ability to engage with young people and their parents, and empathise with their perspective

Ability to identify, assess, and address risks presented by young people to themselves and others, with good analytical skills and sound judgement

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to use IT to record work effectively

Ability to manage relationships with young people in a firm and fair way, supporting compliance where possible and taking enforcement action where necessary

Well organised with the ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure.

Ability to build effective relationships with partners and work across organisational boundaries

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £17.76 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

- working with children and families: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Educated to degree level or has evidence analytical skills (required)
