We are excited to have partnered with a global leading Media Agency who are recruiting for a PPC Account Director to join their team based in Manchester due to rapid growth. As PPC Account Director, you will be responsible for the coordination and deliveryof your accounts across paid search campaigns whilst operating as the main campaign point of contact for clients. You will ensure effective management of projects to brief, schedule and budget. Ultimately, you’ll work to deliver world class paid search programmeswhich exceed client’s expectations. You will be working with the best talent in the industry, both internally at and externally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the output of your team, both client facing and operational, and accountability for adherence to controls and best practices across paid search
- Strategic understanding of the client’s business and KPI’s, keeping up to date with latest Industry news and proactively spotting trends, product releases, and other opportunities which could enhance our activity
- Maintain a forward thinking and innovative approach in the development of all paid search activity
- Develop strong relationships with your client and key suppliers, leading team communications with these stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for your team’s development and career progression within the agency
- Play an active role in recruitment and interviewing processes to build strong teams
- Helping to drive process automation through adoption of scripts and efficient ways of working
- Contributes to the development of strategic revenue and services opportunities

**Essential Skills**:

- Media Agency experience is preferred, either current or past, or experience in a similar role that has given you a strong grounding in media
- 3 - 4 years account management experience
- In-depth understanding of search campaign set-up, management, optimisation and reporting across media owner and technology vendor platforms
- Proven Project Management, Leadership and People Management Experience
- Leads and promotes continuous innovation, and test & learn opportunities for the team and clients
- Creates a positive climate to drive team performance whilst motivating others to strive for continuous improvement
- Desire to drive performance and improve efficiencies
- Understanding of digital principles, paid social, partnerships, mobile, data and analytics
- Drive to execute new ideas and be at the forefront of new industry developments
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to train others and encourage knowledge sharing.
- To be able to organise and run meetings both internally, with clients and media owners
- Be curious and interested
