We are looking for an onsite premises distributor/linen porter to join our team in Birmingham.

The role is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 06:45-14:45hrs

You will assist in the provision of an integrated portering service to the Trust and commercial customers. To ensure the needs of both the customer and the company are met within the agreed quantities and standard of quality.

**Other duties will include**:

- Ensure laundry deliveries to the Hospital are received, checked and delivered to the appropriate area.
- Assess the daily linen requirements for all wards/departments in your care to ensure that agreed stock levels are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry trolleys and ensure they are retained in the correct location.
- Seal used linen into laundry bags.
- Follow work schedules to assist in the collection of used linen from wards, departments and theatres.
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork for the wards/departments in your care.
- Ensure emergency linen requests from any ward/department within normal working hours are delivered to the wards within agreed timescales.
- Ensure linen is sorted and arranged for collection
