**Your Company**:
A highly successful engineering business is working with NET Recruit to assist them in their search for a Payroll & HR Officer, to report into the office located in the Basingstoke area on a **fixed term contract for 2-Years**. Creating and maintaining products to an exceptionally high standard, this business is involved at every step of the process, from inception to delivery and pride themselves on retaining many happy customers year on year.
**Your Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Responsibility for processing the organisation's payroll in a timely and accurate manner on a weekly/monthly basis
- Creating and maintaining employee payroll records, calculating wages and making appropriate deductions based on employee attendance records
- Entering payroll information into a central system with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Dealing with payroll queries internally and externally
- Reporting into the HR Partner to support on any ad-hoc HR matters as needed
- Providing insightful counsel and information to managers regarding employee relation matters
- Producing relevant HR documentation to support the business cross-functionally
- Supporting on the production and amendment of policies and procedures to best support the business
- Any additional duties as and when required by senior HR personnel
