Part of Young Foundations, Mirren Park School is an established independent special day school for children and young people aged 11 to 18 with a range of additional support needs. We require a Classroom assistant to aid in the delivery of lessons and to support pupils to fulfil their potential.

About The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Education, you will have experience working with learners with a variety of additional support needs and a desire to work with children and young people in a creative and supportive way.

You should be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in developing and supporting the education young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours receive. You will be responsible for providing support within the classroom, wider school areas and external sites. You will also be responsible for the care and welfare of pupils by supervising during transition periods and encouraging appropriate behaviour.
