**The Scrum Master **will** **enable everyone to do their best work and ensure that Scrum is implemented consistently across all agile teams. We have highly distributed agile teams, with engineers based in the UK as well as elsewhere in Europe, so you’ll need to be highly adept at facilitating progress, removing impediments and maintaining the success of the teams in a fully remote environment, with team members from highly diverse cultural backgrounds.

**As Scrum Master, **some of your accountabilities and responsibilities will include:

- Coaching and supporting our software engineering squads to ensure that they deliver the sprint commitment every sprint
- Managing cross-team dependencies
- Ensuring that our agile practices, tools and culture are consistent and high performing across each squad
- Working with the Head of Engineering, Head of Product, Solutions Architect and software engineers to ensure that features, epics and user stories have the required acceptance criteria and estimates, and are ready for development before Sprint Planning
- Removing impediments across each squad

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Scrum Master we are looking for people to demonstrate the following:

- Significant, proven experience of coaching, supporting, facilitating, and removing impediments in agile software teams
- Demonstrable experience of working as a Certified Scrum Master or Agile Coach across more than one agile team
- Extensive experience with Scrum and at least one other agile methodology
- Strong knowledge of agile metrics, reports, processes, and ceremonies, with significant experience of what works and what doesn’t
- A pragmatic, flexible and evidence-based mindset
