Kennel Assistant

As we are approaching our busier season we are looking to recruit another member of staff. You will need to be flexible with working hours / days to suit holiday cover etc. this will include working most weekends as these are our busiest days.

Our working day is 7am - 5pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, basic grooming and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels and common areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment and uphold our excellent hygiene standards
- Monitor the behaviour and health of animals
- Assist with administering medications and treatments as directed
- Be confident handling a range of breeds and sizes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to animal care - this is a very active and fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners

We would prefer somebody with existing experience but at the very least an individual who is very active and confident with dogs and how to meet their needs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 19 - 38 per week
