Bewlake Lift and HaulLtd are a family business growing in the specialist logistics and construction sectors, we have our head office based in ballycastle and our main operations depot based in central Scotland.

we have recently secured new contracts which secure the companies long term future.

We now need extra staff to help us maintain our high level of service and continue our growth strategy.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a bright positive personanlity with a can do attitude.

You will be a detail-oriented and organized individual.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department by assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Utilize accounting software (Xero) to perform daily tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in using Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Desired Criteria:

- Book-keeping & Payroll experience would be an advantage.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
