We are looking for a Propulsion Build Supervisor to join a world-leading automotive company based in Lyons Park, Coventry on a contract basis.
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Propulsion Build Supervisor to supervise the battery build team to meet delivery target. The role of the Propulsion supervisor is to enable continuous improvement of the prototype battery build process by providing technical and supervisory leadership to the team.
**Responsibilities of the Propulsion Build Supervisor**:
- This will involve resolving any issues identified with the prototype battery build process while ensuring that all members of the team maintain high levels of valid, technical competency in line with E-Learn 554097 Assessment of Competence
- They will drive forward the prototype battery build process to ensure a world class product is delivered on time, to specification at cost and proud creators of modern luxury.
**Skills Required for the Propulsion Build Supervisor**:
- Understand safe systems of work.
- Indigital, Computer literate, including tableau, Jira, Microsoft Office and Excel competency to produce plans, reports, presentations, graphs, processes and SPL documents.
- Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and manufacturing assembly processes.
**Experience Required for the Propulsion Build Supervisor**:
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
- Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies.
- Ability to accurately and concisely present complex technical ideas or project issues to a diverse audience
- Ability to analyse build assembly books and strip down procedures.
- Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.
- Prepared to undertake further vocational training and development as identified by EO-10, the Prototype Battery Build Team or the SPOC for Early Careers and Training, Powertrain.
- A safety mindset and willingness to challenge others in a suitable manner to meet Zero Harm.
