We're looking for a highly motivated Technical Specialist to join us at a time of growth and development for our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated engineer to use their technical skills and knowledge in a commercial environment.

Skylark Lasers is a leading-edge photonics company supplying compact solid-state lasers into high precision industries, such as metrology, spectroscopy and defence. Our customer base is global, ranging from academic to industrial customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Become an expert on our product portfolio and truly understand the unique value of our lasers from a customer perspective
- Provide pre
- and post-sales technical support to our customers
- Report findings to our technical team
- Analyse customer feedback to improve products and processes
- Identify new market areas that would benefit from our products and collate market intelligence to be shared with the wider Skylark team
- Build relationships with customers and support business development
- Support the generation and technical review of sales and marketing materials
- Collaborate with commercial and technical departments to assist in the successful delivery of the key targets
- Seek out and attend industry events, networking opportunities, and build relationships with our target markets
- Demonstrate products to customers and at trade shows when required

Essential:

- Ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, partners and colleagues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Degree (BSc or above) in Physics
- Able to excel in a fast-paced business environment
- Eligibility to work full-time in the UK

Desirable
- Photonics / Optics experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
