**Simpson Opticians** are looking for an **Optical Assistant** to join our Company.

A full time position (or two part time positions) has become available.

This will include a Saturday morning.

Simpson Opticians are a family run business with branches in Larkhall and East Kilbride (Calderwood).

Our business value and ethos is based on providing clinical excellence, quality products and a personal service to all our clients.

The role of an Optical Assistant includes a combination of Reception, Administration and Retail: booking appointments, phoning patients, maintaining the database _,_ organising clinics, managing stock, advising customers on frames and lenses, ordering and processing glasses and contact lenses.

We are looking for someone with previous retail or administration experience.

**Full training and support will be provided.**

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 9-5.30 pm

Saturday 9-2 pm.

Closed Sunday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 13 - 37 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
