The role will be based at one of our UK sites - Biggleswade, Bedford, Elland, Hitchin, Winsford, Cheshire. Travel to all sites and occasional travel overseas will be required.

**Role and responsibilities**
- Ensuring UK Sourcing plan and activity is aligned with Central objectives
- Strengthening the UK sourcing network and capitalising on procurement synergies both locally and at Group level
- Delivering Value Optimisation projects to improve the profitability of existing products and deliver through local R&D
- To support the growth of the region in continuously improving the performance of its procurement;
- To define and implement efficient procurement strategy for raw materials, packaging and non-production;
- To work with all stakeholders (R&D, supply chain, quality, operations) in a concerted procurement approach;
- To develop tools and procurement processes that fit in a rapidly growing organisation to transform the procurement function into a true business partner of internal stakeholders;
- To participate in the region management team and be responsible for the procurement region budget;
- To implement group contract in your perimeter, provide data to the category managers;
- To be responsible for local buying;
- To be actively involved in group projects;
- support commercial teams with raw material market updates for key customers.
- Proactively work closely with key regional suppliers on new innovation workshops integrated with R&D teams
**Accountabilities**
- operate procurement transactions under the group Governance rules;
- lead the regional procurement/market forecast budget process (Yearly Set up, Yearly implementation with recipe impact calculation, Monthly year to date analysis, Monthly End Year Forecast calculation, Monthly Standard price management, Monthly reporting synchronised with category/country/group);
- country Contract management: to produce the Monthly consolidation of contract status;
- local Value Optimisation;
- deliver assigned annualised saving targets.
