**About the role**
As a senior crown prosecutor, you deliver justice in some of the most complex and challenging cases - from fraud and firearms to public order and corporate manslaughter. Your role is largely office-based, reviewing evidence and charging decisions for cases appearing in the magistrates’ and Crown Court. You provide legal advice and explain our decisions to criminal justice partners and victims of crime, helping to maintain public confidence in our work.
**About you**
We’re looking for qualified barristers and solicitors with extensive knowledge of criminal law, including the most serious offences. You demonstrate sound legal judgement and can present cases clearly, both verbally and in writing. It's essential that you have a commitment to public service, a focus on continuous learning and an understanding of our role within the criminal justice system.
