We are currently recruiting for Bar Attendants/Floor staff to work within our fast paced Bars & Outlets across Hilton Bournemouth.

The Hilton Bournemouth is a modern, stylish hotel boasting 177 designer bedrooms, the popular SkyBar, Tonic Social, destination restaurant - Schpoons and Forx, Eforea Spa and attractive Leisure facilities ideally located right in the centre of Bournemouth.

Job brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/floor staff to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations and great floor staff will be able to deliver these drinks with a the best service. Working across all our 4 Bars & Outlets meaning every day is different

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

**Requirements**:

- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender or a server
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bournemouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
