**About the Team & Role**:
Several job opportunities to join our dynamic and friendly team at Gloucestershire Archives have arisen thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the external promotion of one of our senior archivists.

We’re looking for an experienced professional archivist who will lead our volunteer engagement strategy and be proactive in collecting born digital records from Gloucestershire County Council and South Gloucestershire Council.

You’ll be joining the service at an exciting time as we develop our environmental collections and approach whilst also progressing our ambitious 10-year strategy focusing on cataloguing and digital preservation.

**About You**
A talented relationship builder your focus will be on working with a range of stakeholders to ensure the long term survival of the corporate and community memory.

Your proven track record of leading on strategic objectives will be vital to achieving our service goals in relation to volunteers. You’ll combine an external focus with an internal proactive approach to identifying, gathering and processing key corporate records. Your excellent communication skills will ensure that meaningful, customer-friendly metadata is created about our holdings.

Due to the nature of the role, you are required to have a post graduate qualification in Archives and Records Management, or equivalent.
