Field Water Meter Reader

**NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED**

£12.50 per hour PLUS company vehicle

12 week temporary contract, then to be reviewed.

Our client is currently recruiting a Meter Technician to join their fast-paced team based in Buckingham/Brackley area.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Hours - Working a 37-hour week. Your hours are flexible between the working window of 6:30 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays this includes early morning starts and late evenings until 8pm as this is when our customers are most likely to be at home.
- Obtain accurate readings from water meters
- Carry out meter exchanges - (Full training will be provided)
- Collecting meter data, this is a physically demanding role where you will walk 3 to 8 miles per day
- Use of a handheld computer to carry out work

You will:

- Have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Ideally have experience within a driving role. You will be provided with a uniform and a van
- Have basic IT skills
- A current appropriate clean UK driving licence
- Enjoy working outside
