We have an exciting opportunity for a Verification and Validation Manager to join our team based in Bristol.

In this role you will act as the company leader for all work related to the verification & validation test discipline, covering People, Processes and Tools. You will also ensure that SEA has the appropriate capacity of skilled and experienced workforce for the discipline across all projects and programmes.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Coordinates, plans, and has oversight of, all aspects of all Integration, Verification & Validation Testing required to be performed by SEA.
- Gaining an understanding of current Verification & Validation processes and tool sets, investigating potential areas for improvement or evolution.
- Supporting, managing and mentoring Testing staff or other staff within the V&V Capability. Taking an interest in their personal growth & welfare.
- Reviewing and, if necessary, suggesting improvements to V&V related metrics and reporting.
- Participates in any adjustment to the scope of testing with Project Stakeholders by taking responsibility for risk-based decisions associated with changes to testing schedules.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert on matters relating to Testing: Integration, Verification, Validation and Quality.

**The skills you need**:

- Ideally certified to ISTQB Test Management Level.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Test Management on a variety of complex products and projects.
- A good understanding of the needs of Testing in projects with both hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Requirements Management and associated tooling.
- Strong understanding and experience of both Product Development, and Software Development Lifecycles.
- Strong understanding and experience of a variety of Development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Agile/Hybrid, Spiral/Incremental etc.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management and/or Product Lifecycle Management and the tooling associated with them
- Excellent experience with Test Management and Testing, along with the tooling associated with them.
