We are looking for a friendly, positive and sensible person to join our small team as a Companion Driver. This is a rewarding and satisfying, people centred job.

You will be driving clients of all ages and with varying needs, some of who may be wheel chair users. You therefore need to be a safe driver ensuring your passengers get a comfortable ride at all times. You need to be based in the Lymington - Christchurch area to best support our client base.

You need to be kind, careful, sensible and reliable with excellent time keeping, and have good people skills. You must have a full, clean UK drivers license and will be required to obtain a Private Hire Drivers License from the council, which we will help you with which will include enhanced DBS Check, medicals, driving assessment and drugs test. You will also need to undertaken some additional training such as First Aid and Safeguarding. Please note this can all take up to 2 months to process so patience will be another attribute

Our usual operational hours are Mon-Fri 0830-1800 although some jobs start or end before or after these hours. We occasionally work weekends when overtime will be paid. We can be flexible depending on your availability and ask that you are flexible in return as our schedule varies from week to week. This is a zero hours contract but we would aim to give at least 10 hrs per week, and it is likely that more hours will be available over time. Pay is based on experience and skills.
