We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Cook** who is truly passionate about food and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents in **Cregagh Nursing Home** are met.

Working as part of our fantastic multi-disciplinary team, your main roles will be to prepare meals for our residents specific to their dietary requirements and tastes, baking, menu planning, food ordering and stock control.

Cregagh Nursing Home is a 40 bedded home specialising in frail elderly care and interim care

**What we need from you**

Essential:

- At least 6 months experience in a food preparation/ kitchen environment.
- An understanding of the nutritional needs of the elderly.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Medically fit to carry out the role.

It is desirable that you have 6 months’ experience in catering for elderly clients and is beneficial if you have an NVQ Qualification (or equivalent) in catering.
