**About Us**:Fun Start Childcare is a vibrant and engaging nursery located in the heart of Cannock, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. We cater to children aged 18 months to 5 years old, creating a fun and nurturing environment for their growth and development.

**Position Overview**:We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join our team. If you have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children, we would love to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to encourage physical, social, and emotional growth.
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying and addressing their individual needs.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's development.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and early education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and co-workers
- A nurturing and patient approach to working with children.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
