A client of ours in the Maldon area are recruiting am Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time long term temporary position working 40 hours a week Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 6.00pm and paying £14.50 - £16.50 per hour depending on experience.

This role will have exposure to a mix between management accounts preparation, statutory accounts, VAT returns and ad hoc assignments.

**Your key duties in this role will include but are not limited to**:

- Preparation and posting of monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, depreciation.
- Assist with the balance sheet reconciliation preparation, movement analysis/commentary.
- Prepare monthly cost center reports and analysis vs budget.
- Manage the employee expense reimbursement system, ensuring all rates and forms kept up-to-date, and backup of claims is appropriate and compliant.
- Assisting with weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Processing ad-hoc invoices, Posting of manual payment runs.

**Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role**:

- Part qualified (CIMA) Ideally.
- Minimum 3 year's experience in accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player.
