**The Company**
Electrical Maintenance Technician - 3-shift - £45,000 + benefits + overtime
Nigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a successful high-volume manufacturer based in Newcastle. Looking to add an experienced Electrical Technician to their team.
OTE circa £50,000 +
**The Role**
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for
- Electrical maintenance activities across site, ensuring all PPMs and breakdowns are completed within a timely manner
- Provide electrical support to the team
- Investigate root cause of breakdowns and generate practical engineering solutions
- Lead and manage electrical and continuous improvement projects
- Liaise with all stakeholders on site when scheduling engineering activities

**Person Specification**
The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will have the following skills and experience
- Recognised electrical qualification, four-year apprenticeship or NVQ L3 in engineering
- Proven experience working within a dedicated maintenance role in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding
- Strong methodical approach to problem solving
- Experience of root cause analysis on electrical and automated systems
- Strong communication skills, liaising effectively with stakeholders across site
