Northern Care Alliance NHS FT (NCA) is one of the largest and most respected NHS providers in England; our dedicated team of around 19,000 staff delivers outstanding standards of care for our local populations with a focus on patients and people at our core. We are responsible for running a range of hospital, community healthcare and social care services provided through our Care Organisations across Salford, Oldham, Bury and Rochdale.

The NCA is strongly placed to support the development of emerging Integrated Care Organisations across the wider conurbation, through a partnership model with other health and social care providers. We also play a key role as a provider in the wider Greater Manchester (GM) system, collaborating with others to ensure the best care possible is provided to all patients across GM.

**Main duties of the job**:
Two new roles have been created to lead our two largest Care Organisations - in Salford and Oldham. Each Chief Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day running of their hospital and community services, ensuring the safe delivery of high-quality care at scale. They represent exciting, challenging roles at the heart of our Board and integral to the achievement of our mission. This is a rare opportunity to play a leadership role at place and organisational level and impact the health outcomes for one of the most diverse populations in the country.

As a new Chief Officer you will provide inspirational and visible leadership in pursuit of our Vision 10 strategy and place based plans. This will require the Care Organisation to develop as a high performing team, innovative service provider with a credible reputation as a system partner and place to work within the health and wider community. It also means working collaboratively with the other care organisations to ensure we are constantly learning across the Trust and implementing best practice.
