As an Assessment Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of assessments and examinations within our educational institution. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee all assessment processes, maintaining accuracy, security, and confidentiality at all times. You will collaborate closely with teaching staff, students, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to assessment guidelines and policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the scheduling and organisation of assessments and examinations according to established timelines and procedures.
- Prepare examination materials, including question papers, answer sheets, and other necessary documentation.
- Oversee the secure storage, distribution, and retrieval of assessment materials, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
- Supervise examination sessions, maintaining a calm and organized environment for students.
- Ensure compliance with assessment guidelines and policies set by regulatory bodies and internal standards.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to clarify assessment requirements and provide necessary support.
- Process and analyse assessment results, generating reports and providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of assessment-related policies, procedures, and systems.
- Stay updated with changes in assessment practices and regulations, suggesting improvements as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in education, Assessment, or a related field. A higher degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in assessment administration within the education industry.
- Strong knowledge of assessment methodologies, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and technologies, including online platforms and digital assessment methods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
