**JOB TITLE**: Inspections Co-Ordinator / Inspector - Dual Role

**DEPARTMENT**: Inspections

**RESPONSIBLE TO**: Head of Inspections; Inspections Manager

**EXPERIENCE**:It is expected the post holder will be literate, numerate, and computer literate. Full training will be given.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To provide administration service for all commodities within AS International Corporation, in conjunction with the Inspections Manager and the Customer Services Supervisor, and to manage its effective and efficient implementation. Also, to undertake any inspections as and when required, which may include night shifts and out of office hours.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Responsible for the implementation of the inspection service.

2. Responsible for the management of the inspection processes.

3. Responsible for the processing of reports and certificates.

4. Performing inspections when required.

**KEY TASKS**

1. Full responsibility for each appointment.

2. Definition of the service provision including supervision / inspection protocol.

3. Assessment of AS International Corporation and Client exposure to minimise or remove risk.

4. Attention to detail to ensure all appointment aspects are managed and completed.

5. Co-ordination of inspection, weighing, sampling etc., on all shipments.

6. Provision of first-class customer service.

7. Customer liaison; maintaining regular contact and building rapport on business related issues.

8. Provision of technical assistance to Inspections Department for preparation of tenders.

9. Database management in accordance with company procedures.

10. Prepare the inspection service input for the business planning in conjunction with Inspections Department Manager and in liaison with Commercial and Financial departments.

11. Contribute to the Inspections Department profit and loss processes.

12. Contribute to the Inspections Department quality of service.

13. Assist in dispute resolution in conjunction with AS International Corporation procedures.

14. Undertake responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
